We currently have 2 positions available:

1. MARKETING COORDINATOR – CASUAL OR FREELANCE

A fantastic opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Marketing, Branding and Design studio for a paid ongoing casual or freelance position ranging from 5 – 15 hours per week (with the possibility to increase over time). Flexible work from home conditions offered for the right applicant.

Your work will cover all aspects of the marketing and design process from strategy, planning, copywriting, briefing artwork, working closely with the design team, right through to marketing project delivery.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of service and product brands,  and demonstrate your marketing and creative flair in collaboration with our Marketing Strategist.

The role will offer the right candidate an entrepreneurial and positive environment, where you can utilise your learnings, experience and creative abilities to assist us to maintain our ongoing clients and grow our marketing and design clients, with a focus on helping to achieve our clients and company overarching goals. You need to be a self-starter, highly motivated, resourceful and a problem solver with a “can do” attitude. Being adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment is also a must, as tight deadlines and turnaround times are common.

This role may suit applicants with 1-2+ years on the job experience in a related role or a marketing freelancer looking to add some regular hours to their working week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

You will support and apply your skills to the marketing and design functions of our business including:

  • Create new marketing, branding, strategic, social media and / or communication plans, covering all areas of marketing.
  • Undertake the implementation of all strategic and / or communication plans, including copy writing and updating of monthly logs.
  • Undertake desktop market research, analysis and report writing.
  • Undertake internal projects and marketing such as email marketing and social media ongoing and new product / service development.
  • Work closely with our Marketing Strategist, Creative Director, design team, external assistants and external partners.
  • Brief graphic design projects with design team.
  • Involvement in brainstorming and idea generation where required.
Skills
  • Excellent and confident communication skills essential (both verbal and written) and strong marketing copy writing skills a must.
  • Understanding of online and offline marketing strategies and digital marketing across all social media platforms.
  • Understanding of style and creative principles.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines with high levels of organisation.
  • Goal and results orientated with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a team player.
  • Positive problem solver.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Asana, Slack and OneDrive desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills.
  • Mac experienced user, including Mail desirable, but not essential.

Qualifications / Experience (desired, though not essential)

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, journalism, media, communications, project or event management or related field
  • Previous experience in copy writing for sales and marketing activities.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C services and/or marketing strategies.

2. GRAPHIC DESIGNER – FREELANCE

An opportunity exists for an experienced freelance creative graphic designer to to join our growing Marketing, Branding and Design studio for ongoing project work from 5 – 15 hours per week (with the possibility to increase over time). Flexible work from home conditions offered for the right applicant. Your work will cover all aspects of the design process from conceptualising and creation, right through to creating finished artwork.

You will have the opportunity to design for multiple brands, many corporate in nature, and demonstrate your creative flair and expertise. Projects will range from branding development, sales and marketing collateral, social media, web graphics and beyond.

This role may suit a designer already working for themselves who would like additional regular work or a designer working casual or part time elsewhere and wanting additional work. Being adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment is also a must, as tight deadlines and turnaround times are sometimes required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts for logo identities and branding elements
  • Develop creative concepts and layout for brochures, advertising, packaging, social media and similar
  • Liaise with clients on occasion, regarding artwork queries and proofing through to finished project
  • Support marketing team members with client design requirements
  • Create in-house designed collateral where needed
  • Design of in-house and client email direct marketing.
  • Work closely with our creative director, marketing strategist and coordinator.
  • Be involved in brainstorming and idea generation sessions relating to design projects, if required.

Skills

  • Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign skills using Creative Cloud
  • Good pre-press and print knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills essential (both verbal and written)
  • Professional
  • Sound understanding of design principles (and when to break them!)
  • Ability to apply the role of ‘play’ and ‘fun’ in their work
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment and meet daily deadlines with high levels of organisation.
  • Goal and results orientated with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a team player
  • Positive problem solver
  • Mac experienced user

  • 2-5 years experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience in B2B and / or corporate design
