Valley Designer Cakes specialises in custom made, handcrafted wedding and special occasion cakes that taste just as good as they look. All their cakes are made from scratch in a large variety of available styles and flavours, as well as catering to most dietary requirements.
Our client attended one of the largest wedding exhibitions, the Melbourne Bridal and Honeymoon Expo held at The Melbourne Exhibition Centre on the 22nd January 2018. This event features designers and bridal exhibitors from all over the nation. Such events are such a great way to gain exposure and build communication avenues with potential customers.
For this event, ideapro were asked to design and print a flyer for the Valley Designer Cakes expo stand, to both promote a special offer and increase their mailing list subscribers. We worked together with the client to develop engaging copy, to help ensure their objectives were met.
Following this, a 2-sided A5 tear-away flyer was designed. On the front, an image that represented their cakes, their logo, contact details, and social media platforms were included. The rear top half design included their promotional offer for prospects. The bottom half was where prospective clients who expressed interest could provide their contact details and request a quote, which Valley Designer Cakes would keep on file to follow up post the event.
Our client received a huge number of leads with over 600 attendees’ details and enquiries generated, with the help of this little tool. Each prospect walked away with their special offer.
