Freightquip are Australian distributors and service providers of freight from some of the world’s leading manufacturers, supporting the aviation, rail and port industries in Australia. They intended to exhibit at AusRail Plus 2017, the largest rail event in Australasia, supported by leading industry associations and a key industry meeting place for over 5000 attendees.
After working with the Freightquip team for a number of years, including developing their logo identity, ideapro was asked to create a new highly visual concept exhibition stand design, with the primary aim of both cementing existing relationships as well as the opportunity to create new connections and generate leads. The design concept was to be very graphic and eye catching, without lots of copy which was a great brief to work with for this particular application. Exhibition stands have minimal time (between 3 – 7 seconds) to attract passers-by, so less is definitely more in this case.
There were 5 different parts to the custom built stand with various dimensions and shapes, including towers and tension fabric wall displays. Overall, the design featured images of the various brands that Freightquip supports and distributes, with space allowed for a wall mounted TV which further highlighted their capabilities. The stand was printed and built by the client’s preferred supplier.
The Freightquip team was very happy with the result, and importantly advised that leads and enquiries were achieved, as well as a new agency established on the back of their attendance at AusRail Plus 2017. Suffice to say, on the back of this positive outcome they intend to attend future events.
Exhibitions are a great marketing tool for many businesses, and we recommend attending for great exposure to your target audience to gain potential customers, reconnect with existing ones, networking and market testing exposure to name but a few reasons.
